Kia Ora
I’m Carrie, the face and energy of Curate Home. I have a passion for helping people, design and beautiful objects.
My entire life I’ve been known to enjoy rearranging a space; my bedroom as a child, my ever-patient sister’s bedroom (thanks Han) and many friends' living areas.
My past professional vocations are within the care and education spaces: From mental health and disability support, to teaching. I am still a qualified and registered teacher!
These careers have shaped who I am, and have led me to combine my energy, passion for helping others and the skills my family and friends have so patiently endured over my lifetime.
I have a love of vintage, retro and quirky objects- my home is a testament to my own neurodiversity and love of 'stuff'. Funnily enough, I’m not a naturally tidy person, or a minimalist!
I look forward to meeting you, and helping you to create a beautiful, calm and organised home.
